Nomadic Ground Press is an organic and fair trade coffee company that puts a poem in every heidelberg-letterpressed bag. Poems are selected by the editors. Each poem is folded and put in a pound of coffee. The bags are distributed in stores throughout the bay area. Beans leave an antique patina and customers put the collectable poems on their fridge.
Past Quarterly Poetry Editors include:

Quarterly Poetry Editor: The QPE ensures the overall vitality and relevance of Nomadic Ground as a meaningful imprint in poetry. Nomadic Ground is the largest distributor of poetry in the bay area. To ensure the diversity of poetry is represented, the QPE is designed as a three month-long position. The QPE works under the direction and final editorial control of the Senior Editor.
The QPE solicits twelve poems, one for each week of the quarter. Poems can be an unpublished work - being published for the first time in NG coffee - or re-prints of poems. The QPE gathers permissions, communicates with poets, and formats the poems for flight in a thousand bags of coffee. Additional duties include updating the NG poetry blog and helping to select the next QPE!
